About “Reindeer and Tree”

Reindeer and Tree started while on a residency in Vadsø, far northeast in Finmark, Norway in January and February of 2015.

The work is inspired and influenced by the local Reindeer and the characteristically stocky birch tree of the region.

In the spring of 2015 Thorjussen received a grant to further create new work in this series, nr 6 and 7 being the latest of these.
