May you live in interesting times

The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the COVID-19 virus as a pandemic. Because of global fear of virus spread, art institutions and industry events have been faced with the decision to cancel, postpone, or alter their 2020 editions or planned programming. This effect our gallery as well, as our recent photo exhibition with works by Per Ole Hagen is now temporarily closed. We are sorry for this, but we will reopen as soon as it is safe. To quote the theme of last year´s Venice biennial: “May you live in interesting times”.

We are empathizing with all artists and art venues that now have lost opportunities to show art works. Many of them have a tight economy and will be badly affected if the sieze last for long. We urge all of you to support culture and art in every way you can, and remind you of American dancer and choreographer Twyla Tharp:

“Art is the only way to run away without leaving home.”

Remember; at our online gallery you can enjoy wonderful art from your own home!

Keep well and take care of yourself and your loved ones!
