Pink Mask

Over several years Pogorzhelskaya photographed herself and her friends with cosmetic masks on their faces. Facial care is a fantastic spectacle. But what amazed her is that with the layer covering the face one can still see clear the person’s mood. The project started as a series of small paintings, which were exhibited in the mobile “Pal’to” (“Coat”) Gallery. Later she made big size paintings.
