Freshness is a part of the Metamorphosis of Existence triptych (Freshness, Ripeness, Decay).

Colour is a way of communication that influences the subconscious and conveys to a viewer information, which is often impossible to convey by any other means.

Blue colour always has fascinated Petrov, because in its beauty there is hidden something divine and unattainable. This transcendental quality of blue makes it necessary for the artist to explore the possibilities of its aesthetic application in abstract art. In order to carry out this task of fundamental analysis, one must abstract from a form and devote oneself entirely to colour.
