Aleksander Nordahl

Cyclus III

One Breath Series, Waterscapes #II

Diving deep below the surface, Aleksander Nordahl explores the life cycles of jellyfishes. During a year jelly fishes are born and live, until they gradually dissolves and becomes absorbed by the ocean in witch they lived. No longer a part of time. It is truly a strange and magical world.

Nordahl´s images are a result of freediving, where his lungs are his only air reservoir; the photos are taken within the time he can keep the air in his lungs. Everything happens within one breath.
